2010 Baseball/Softball Fall Registration
When : August 14th and 21st from 9am - 12pm
Cost : $65 per child, $50 for each additional child

Where:  TBD

Season Games : September 12th - October 17th


MYA Board Elections - It's that time of year again to start thinking about your 2011 MYA Board Members.  Board Elections will be on October 18th.  Details to follow at a later date for nominations.

Congratulations to each of our All-Star teams on a very successful all-star season.

All-Star  Results-  
Softball -

6U Girls
-
finished 3rd in the NSA Area Tournament and went to Orange Beach to the State Tournament and finished 8th over all. They were the only St Clair Co. 6U team to go to State and the the first 6U team from our park to ever go to State.


12U Girls - finished 2nd place in the NSA Area Tournament, sending them to State in Orange Beach as well. They tied for 5th in State.

Baseball -

5 year olds - Regional Tournament Runner up.  Finished 3rd in the Alabama Dizzy Dean State Tournament.  Fans, Players and Coach's were awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the State Tournament.

6 year olds - District 1 Tournament Champions.  Finished 4th in Area Tournament and advanced to the Alabama Dizzy Dean State Tournament and finished tied for 12th place.

8 year old Blue - District 1 Tournament Runner up.

9 year olds - Competed in the Alabama Dizzy Dean State Tournament finished tied for 16th place.

10 year old Blue - District 1 Tournament Champions.  Advanced to the Alabama Dizzy Dean State Tournament and finished tied for 8th place.

10 year old White - District 1 Tournament Runner up.

12 year olds - District 1 Tournament Champions.

Also, we want to congratulate some area programs, Springville 7 year olds, Clay 8 year olds, Huffman 10 year olds, Irondale 11 year olds, and Clay Seniors on their Dizzy Dean State Championships.

  fans.  There will be no warnings issued by the
Umpires, MYA Board
  Members, or City Officials.  It will be dealt with harshly and

Welcome to the Moody Youth Association Website. The goal of our league is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates. Participation in our league is open to all boys and girls. We welcome all children, regardless of race, creed or national origin.

Directions-  

From Atlanta – take I-20 West to Exit 147 (Brompton Exit). Turn Right onto Kelly Creek Rd. Go to next Stop Sign and take left onto Park Ave/CR-10. Go 1.4 miles and park will be on left.

  

From Birmingham – take I-20 East to Exit 144B (Moody/Odenville Exit). Stay right off of exit ramp onto US-411/Moody Pkwy. Go 2.4 miles to Red Light (CVS on right) and turn right onto Park Ave/CR-10.
